Remote Team Review Workflow

The challenge

Remote teams can't do desk-side critiques or whiteboard reviews. Design feedback happens through Slack messages with tiny screenshots, video calls where designs blur on screen share, or email threads where everyone gives conflicting input in isolation. The result: more revision rounds, longer timelines, and frustrated designers.

Reviewer is built for async design review. Upload designs, share a link, and team members review on their own schedule. Pin annotations let reviewers leave precise, contextual feedback that doesn't require a real-time conversation to understand.

Every reviewer sees the same design and all existing annotations. This prevents contradictory feedback — when a PM sees that the creative director already approved the color palette, they focus on other areas instead of relitigating design decisions.

Approval workflows give remote teams a clear go/no-go on each design. No more ambiguous Slack threads about whether something was approved. The status is documented and visible to everyone.

How it works

1. Designer uploads work

   Export designs as PNG or JPG. Upload to Reviewer and share the review link in your team's Slack or project management tool.

2. Team reviews asynchronously

   Team members across time zones open the link and leave pinned feedback on their own schedule.

3. Designer consolidates feedback

   All annotations are visible in context on the design. No need to compile feedback from multiple channels.

4. Approve and iterate

   Reviewers approve or request changes. The designer knows exactly what's cleared and what needs another round.
